Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring freight is properly secured for transport. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools, equipment, and materials.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and productive manner.
• Verify freight and shipping information for accuracy.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and related documentation.
• Report equipment, vehicle, or facility maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and drivers.
• Demonstrate company values and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable warehouse, dock, or freight handling experience.
• Verifiable forklift operating experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSR, TSA, OSHA, and HAZMAT regulations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable work ethic and strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to pull up to 3,000 pounds using a pallet jack.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, squat, kneel, push, pull, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment for extended periods.
