Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shift
Company Information
A Shelbyville, Indiana rubber manufacturing company is hiring Maintenance Technicians to join their team! This position is responsible for implementing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and electronic circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLC-controlled equipment throughout the facility. Maintenance Technicians will also be responsible for making minor PLC program changes, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production operations.

Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday / 3:00PM-11:00PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday / 11:00PM-7:00AM
- Overtime may be required
Job Duties
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic circuits
- Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform PLC troubleshooting and make minor program modifications
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and minimize production downtime
- Lead maintenance projects from start to completion
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and support systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
- Follow all plant safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
Requirements
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required
- Experience with PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Injection molding, rubber manufacturing, mixing, or plant process experience is a plus
- Ability to lead projects and see them through to completion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
