Office Support / Order Entry Specialist - Evaluation Hire

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Pay: $20–$23/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM OR 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Overtime: Available as needed

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Support / Order Entry Specialist to join our client's team at a new facility in Hoffman Estates. This position will provide administrative and data entry support while helping ensure customer orders, inventory, production, and shipping information are entered accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with computers and spreadsheets, and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Enter customer orders, production data, inventory transactions, and shipping information accurately into ERP and/or Excel systems
• Maintain and update customer, supplier, and product databases
• Prepare packing lists, invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documentation
• Verify data for accuracy and promptly identify and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized email records for audit and customer service purposes
• Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed
• Communicate with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to ensure information is accurate and up to date
• Support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing/packaging environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics or manufacturing/distribution
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with an ERP system is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Reliable and dependable with good attendance
