Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Make beds and change bed linens, pillowcases, and towels
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop floors
• Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
• Remove trash and used linens from guest rooms
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guests
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to supervisors
• Clean and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Respect guest privacy and handle personal belongings appropriately
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required)
• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and meet hotel cleanliness standards
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
