We are seeking an experienced, dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join a busy lumber yard team! This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, and operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the yard.

• Receive, organize, stage, and prepare lumber and building materials for shipment.

• Handle long and heavy materials safely to prevent damage.

• Build accurate, secure loads according to customer orders.

• Maintain an organized and safe work area.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of previous forklift operating experience REQUIRED.

• Experience working in a lumber yard, warehouse, or building materials environment preferred.

• Ability to safely handle large, heavy, and oversized materials.

• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail.

• Dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors approximately 80% of the shift.

• Ability to work in a physically active, fast-paced environment.
