📍 Location: Abilene, TX💰 Pay: $20.00/hour💼 Position: General Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced General Accountant to join a busy accounting office! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Process debits, credits, and journal entries
Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
Complete account and bank reconciliations
Process, organize, and track receipts
Assist with general bookkeeping and daily accounting operations
Maintain accurate financial documentation
Qualifications:
Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
Strong understanding of debits, credits, AP, and AR
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
Experience with dealership-specific accounting software is a plus!
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong math, organizational, and time-management skills
