Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, dependable Mailroom Supervisor for a part-time temporary opportunity in Swannanoa, NC. This position will oversee daily mailroom operations, coordinate schedules, and supervise a small team of student employees.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, can manage multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mailroom operations, including sorting and distributing mail and packages.

• Pick up mail from the local post office Monday through Friday.

• Supervise, train, and schedule student employees.

• Assist with creating and maintaining employee and student identification cards.

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve mail-related questions or concerns.

• Maintain accurate records, package logs, and mailroom organization.

• Coordinate daily responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and manage daily priorities independently.

• Previous mailroom, shipping/receiving, or similar experience preferred.

• Proficiency with computers and general office software.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Additional Information: This is a part-time temporary opportunity requiring approximately 25 hours per week. Candidates must be reliable, organized, and comfortable providing hands-on leadership while assisting with daily operations.
