Mechanical Assembler

Salary: $21-$23hr

Position Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Mechanical Assemblers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a mechanical assembly background, experience using hand tools, and the ability to read assembly drawings and follow written instructions. Candidates should be comfortable using basic computer applications and working collaboratively to meet production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of components and products according to assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and other basic assembly tools.
• Read and interpret assembly prints, drawings, and Excel spreadsheets.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects, damage, and accuracy.
• Verify that assemblies meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Record production activities and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies.
• Track assembly progress and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work effectively with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous mechanical assembly experience or a related hands-on background.
• Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools, including screwdrivers and Allen wrenches.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, prints, and work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or assembly errors.
• Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
