Human Resources Representative (Contract)
Location: Molalla, OR
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Duration: Contract Position through December 2026
Pay: $30-$35/hr.
Make an Impact as the Sole Onsite HR Representative
A growing manufacturing organization in Molalla is seeking an experienced and confident Human Resources Representative to support employees and leaders at their facility through the end of the year. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships, solving problems, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and management.
This position will be the primary onsite HR contact, working closely with plant leadership and receiving support from a Regional HR Director and HR team members located at other facilities.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary onsite HR resource for employees, supervisors, and leadership
- Provide employee relations support, including coaching, guidance, conflict resolution, and handling sensitive conversations
- Lead recruiting efforts for production and manufacturing positions
- Coordinate candidate interviews and support hiring activities
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and employee offboarding processes
- Assist employees with benefit questions, enrollments, and qualifying life event changes
- Coordinate and administer required training programs
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Partner with managers to address workforce challenges and employee concerns
- Support HR initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with regional HR leadership on escalated employee matters and special projects
What We're Looking For
- Previous Human Resources experience required
- Strong employee relations experience and ability to navigate difficult conversations professionally and confidently
- Experience supporting recruiting and hiring efforts
- Knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HR processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance and support
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels of the organization
