Express Employment SW San Antonio is looking for 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $17.00- $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour shifts; specific workdays to be determined)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting efficient production operations during 12-hour night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Repair and maintain gearboxes, air compressors, conveyor systems, and small motors.
• Service and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience working with:
• Air compressors
• Conveyor belt systems
• Forklift maintenance and repair
• Welding and fabrication
• Industrial gearboxes and power transmission systems
• Small motor repair
• Computerized maintenance tracking systems (CMMS)
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a manufacturing environment.
