Job Title: Shop Assistant                                                                     Location: Houston, TX

 

Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual for a hands-on Shop Assistant role supporting our Operations, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining real-world experience and exposure to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building marketing case materials and sales support documents
• Support Sales and Engineering teams with 3D printing of sample products
• Help prepare and organize product samples for customer presentations
• Assist Marketing with taking photos and videos of products for promotional use
• Paint and finish product samples as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas
• Support inventory organization and basic material handling tasks
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic equipment-maintenance tasks of manufacturing equipment
• Perform other general support duties as assigned

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office a plus)
• Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed
• Some experience with Lathe and Mills 

Physical Requirements

• May be required to sit, bend, squat, kneel, or stand for long periods
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Sit, speak, or listen actively for extended periods
• Possess full use of both hands to feel or manipulate objects, tools, or controls
• Perform an extended reach with arms to manipulate objects, tools, or controls
• Walk short distances, sometimes over uneven terrain
• May be exposed to various weather conditions, including seasonal hot and cold temperatures

Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
