We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Building Maintenance Person to help maintain residential properties and ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas are safe, clean, and in good working condition.

🔧 Job Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout residential properties

Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair work

Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs

Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and property

Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner

Inspect apartments, buildings, and common areas for maintenance needs

Maintain and repair doors, windows, fixtures, appliances, and other building components

Assist with preparing units for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep

Maintain exterior areas, grounds, sidewalks, and common areas as needed

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment

Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies

Report major repairs, safety concerns, or equipment problems to appropriate personnel

Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies

Maintain a clean and professional work environment

Perform other maintenance duties as assigned

⭐ Qualifications & Skills

Previous building maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred

Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs

Ability to use common hand and power tools

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and follow instructions

Good organizational and time-management skills

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Professional and respectful communication with residents, coworkers, vendors, and management

Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Valid driver's license may be required

💪 Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform physical maintenance work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting or moving materials and equipment as needed.
