General Responsibilities

 

The Fulfillment Specialist must effectively operate the bin-location system in Digital PCS, have a complete understanding of the entire fulfillment process, and work efficiently to complete and locate finalized, accurate orders to the shipping conveyor system. The Fulfillment Specialist will need to have great attention to detail to ensure that no orders get mixed with others or left unfulfilled.

 

Specific Duties

 

• Work within the Digital PCS system and follow the step-by-step procedures for properly fulfilling an order
• Responsible for receiving an order, reading and comprehending the order banner sheet, scanning the barcode into the system, and determining if the product needs a bin location
• Once a bin has a complete order, Specialist must remove the order from the system, ensure all items are in the bin, and place the bin on the shipping conveyer system
• Have an understanding of the various order types and products produced in-house.
• Be able to sort through complex orders and determine if there are errors or missing items
•  Follow the instruction given by the lead team member in fulfillment

• Be able to speak at a high knowledge level about the workflow and quality control to anybody who asks – co-worker, manager, etc

• Promptly alert Floor Manager/Team Lead on any issues that may affect an order’s quality or expected ship dates.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
