OVERVIEW

Express is seeking a Manufacturing Parts Technician to join our production team. The role involves operating casting and automated manufacturing equipment, performing quality inspections, following production specifications, and safely moving materials throughout the facility using a forklift. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use Standard Method Sheets to ensure the correct materials and methods are utilized.
• Inspect attributes and variables as defined by the Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Operate casting machines and automatic/semi-automatic manufacturing equipment.
• Follow manufacturing instructions, specifications, and data sheets.
• Read specifications to determine machine setup, temperature settings, and production times.
• Inspect products for surface defects, flaws, and overall quality.
• Ensure finished products conform to customer and company specifications.
• Identify and eliminate the production of defective parts and products.
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage materials while following all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Computer literate with the ability to enter and track production data.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
