EVENT CASHIER - HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

Location: Eureka, CA
Date: Thursday, November 19 (1 day temp assignment)
Shift: Approximately 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (4 Hours)
Pay: $20.00 per hour

A local salon and skin care studio is seeking a friendly, reliable Event Cashier to assist during a holiday open house event. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, providing excellent service, and helping create a welcoming experience during a festive community event.

What You'll Do

• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
• Operate a Square Point of Sale (POS) system 
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions
• Greet guests and create a positive first impression
• Assist with maintaining an organized checkout area
• Direct guests to appropriate staff for questions
• Provide professional and friendly customer service throughout the event

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
• Experience using Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems preferred
• Comfortable handling transactions and making change
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
