Oncology LPN – Gulfport, MS

Express Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to join an outpatient oncology team in Gulfport, MS. If you want meaningful work supporting patients through cancer care, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and document health histories in the EMR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient education
• Administer medications and injections within LPN scope of practice
• Monitor patients for treatment side effects and report changes to the care team
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families

Requirements

• Active Mississippi LPN license (or multistate compact license)
• Current BLS certification
• 1+ year of clinical experience; oncology or infusion experience preferred
• Strong EMR and documentation skills
• Calm, empathetic bedside manner
