We are hiring a reliable and safety-focused DELIVERY DRIVER to transport parts and equipment throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut region. This is a temp to perm position with opportunity of full-time hire. Local delivery driving.

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading equipment and parts to customer locations throughout the tri-state area. The ideal candidate has experience driving delivery vans in and around New York City, maintains a clean driving record, and is comfortable handling physical loading and unloading duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery van throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and parts at customer locations.
• Perform deliveries and pickups according to scheduled routes and customer requirements.
• Ensure all products are handled carefully and delivered in excellent condition.
• Maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and proof of delivery documentation.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
• Assist with warehouse and shop duties when not making deliveries.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.

 Qualifications

• Previous experience driving a delivery van or commercial vehicle.
• Experience navigating and driving throughout the NYC metropolitan area and tri-state region.
• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local highways, boroughs, bridges, tunnels, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to safely load and unload equipment and materials.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety conscious.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

 Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to load and unload equipment throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of delivery vehicles frequently.

 Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
