Job Summary

BPC Toll Compounding & Blending is seeking dependable and hardworking Assistant Operators to join our production team. In this role, you will support machine operations by ensuring materials are consistently supplied to production lines, monitoring feed systems, and assisting operators in maintaining efficient production. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor production line feeds and ensure materials remain adequately stocked.
• Work closely with Machine Operators to keep production lines running efficiently.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers to maintain a steady supply of pellets and raw materials.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Refill silos and production equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine sweeping and housekeeping.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with general production and plant operations as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, climbing stairs, and general physical activity.
• Ability to safely operate industrial equipment, including forklifts.
