We're hiring a Gear Shaper Operator / CNC Machinist to set up and operate Fellows and Coppinger 3A gear-shaping machines. The ideal candidate will have strong manual machining experience, precision measurement skills, and the ability to manufacture gear teeth and splines according to specifications.
Set up and operate Fellows and Coppinger 3A gear-shaping machines.
Manufacture precision gear teeth and splines according to blueprints.
Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
3–6 years of hands-on gear-shaping experience.
Experience operating Fellows and Coppinger 3A machines.
Manual machining experience required; CNC machining experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
Full-Time | Schedule to be confirmed
$25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
