Role overview

Inspect products to confirm they meet customer specifications and engineering drawings. The role also supports quality processes such as receiving and in-process inspections, moisture management, equipment calibration, training, and ISO 9001 compliance.

Main responsibilities

• Inspect finished products visually and dimensionally; determine whether they meet requirements.
• Use measuring and inspection tools, and assess factors such as workmanship and wood moisture.
• Check finished goods against drawings, including labels, stenciling, loose items, and special handling requirements.
• Enter inspection information into software and help prepare reports.
• Review design specifications and share feedback with the Design, Manufacturing, and support teams.
• Identify nonconformances or process inefficiencies and participate in ISO audits.

Qualifications listed

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of manufacturing experience, or demonstrated proficiency.
• At least one year of quality-inspection experience preferred, or demonstrated proficiency.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and interpret engineering drawings.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with the ability to learn company software.
• Strong bilingual communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
