Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Create and modify drivers schedules independently as dictated by customer needs and to ensure the most efficient delivery too cutomers 
2. Monitor fuel usage and make independent decisions about when and where to deliver fuel, including decisions regarding diverting loads, cancelling deliveries and adding deliveries as needed
3. Determine number of trips and vehicles to run, assign drivers and equipment to run
4. Supervise drivers including ensuring the safety of loads 
5. coordinate daily terminal activities by taking customer delivery orders via, telephone, fax or in person. 
6. Review and complete the order process and prepare the schedules for local and long-distance moves
7. Ensure that drivers follow direction of logistics supervisors with respect to load diversions and changes to route

more duties available at request. 

Education and Work Experience 

Bachelor's degree preferred 

Dispatch experience highly preferred (2 years)
