Order Picker / Forklift Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a high-reach stand-up forklift and cherry picker/order picker safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pull, and stage customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Read and verify SKU numbers, product descriptions, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Utilize RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse management systems (WMS) to process orders and inventory transactions.
• Perform inventory control functions, including cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory audits.
• Replenish pick locations and organize warehouse inventory.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Maintain productivity standards while ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Inspect equipment daily and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and housekeeping as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a high-reach stand-up forklift and cherry picker/order picker required.
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately read and identify SKU numbers, product labels, and inventory locations.
• Inventory experience including cycle counts and stock reconciliation preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Ability to work efficiently under productivity goals and deadlines.

• Experience in high-volume distribution or fulfillment centers.
