Express Employment is now hiring a Multi-Trade Electrician for an airport facility in the West Columbia, SC area! This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong commercial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills who enjoys hands-on work across multiple building systems.

Pay: $29.00/hour

Schedule:

Must be available for rotating shifts, on-call coverage, after-hours maintenance, and emergency response as assigned.

Job Duties:

-Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building electrical systems, wiring, panels, circuit breakers, motors, and controls

-Work with power distribution systems operating at 120/208 and 277/480 volts

-Maintain, test, and repair emergency generators and automatic transfer switches

-Install and repair interior and exterior lighting systems

-Service passenger boarding bridges, bag lifts, commercial overhead doors, and related electrical and mechanical equipment within assigned qualifications

-Assist with minor plumbing, HVAC support, filter changes, and general facility maintenance

-Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

-Follow electrical codes, lockout/tagout requirements, and safety procedures

Requirements:

-Strong working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and power distribution equipment

-Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

-Working knowledge of generators, transfer switches, PLC-related equipment, and fire alarm systems

-Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

-Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand and power tools, and lifts

-General knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance

-Ability to use computerized work-order systems and Microsoft Office applications

-Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work outdoors, at heights, and in restricted spaces

-Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
