Inspection Supervisor (DIRECT HIRE)

Location: Cypress, CA
Pay Range: $80,000+/yr Full-Time

Summary

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Inspection Supervisor to lead and develop a team of quality inspectors while ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards. This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to maintain quality, improve processes, and support the timely delivery of customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 5-8 Quality Inspectors.
• Coordinate daily inspection activities to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Work closely with the Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing Departments on a near-daily basis to support production needs and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Review inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Train, coach, and evaluate inspection personnel.
• Ensure proper use of measuring and testing equipment.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with quality procedures, standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and quality management systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
