Pay: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday and rotating Fridays, 7:15 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Express Employment Professionals – South Fort Worth is hiring an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist for a local manufacturing company. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled machinist with Swiss machining experience, strong setup and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to produce precision parts from start to finish.

CNC Swiss Machinist Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC Swiss machines and CNC lathes to produce high-precision parts.

• Load CNC programs, set work offsets, and verify tooling and fixtures before production.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and setup instructions.

• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds based on materials and job requirements.

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.

• Adjust offsets and make minor program edits to maintain tight tolerances and part quality.

• Troubleshoot tooling, programming, material, and machine performance issues.

• Perform basic machine maintenance, including monitoring coolant and oil levels.

• Maintain accurate setup sheets, inspection records, production data, and job time entries.

• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams and assist with training other machine operators.

• Follow quality procedures, ISO 9001 requirements, and workplace safety guidelines.

CNC Swiss Machinist Qualifications

• Previous Swiss machining experience is required.

• Experience setting up and operating CNC machines and general machine shop equipment.

• Previous machining or manufacturing experience.

• Bar feeder experience.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.

• Understanding of machining strategies, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and precision measurement.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Excel, and shop floor production software.

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating Citizen Swiss machines.

• Knowledge of G-code or Mazatrol programming.

• CNC mill experience.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards.
