AP/AR Clerk / Bookkeeper
Pay: $20-$25/hour based on experience
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM | Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Experienced AP/AR Clerk & Bookkeeper Needed
A well-established Tampa-area company is seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Clerk / Bookkeeper with about 10 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a professional who excels in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and financial recordkeeping.
Automotive, powersports, motorcycle, RV, or motorsports dealership experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare, print, and issue checks to vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor customer accounts and collections activity
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and accounting files
- Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations
- Utilize accounting software and Excel to track financial transactions
- Support general office and accounting operations
Qualifications
- 10 years of bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting experience
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations, invoice entry, and check processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in an automotive dealership, motorcycle dealership, powersports dealership, RV dealership, or motorsports business is a major plus
