This is a great opportunity for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in machine operation, manufacturing, production, and warehouse work. No previous spooling experience is required. Training is provided for qualified candidates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate spooling machinery to convert large rolls of material into customer-specified lengths
- Load and unload 200-300 foot rolls of material safely and efficiently
- Monitor the spooling process to ensure rolls are wound evenly and remain properly aligned
- Inspect materials throughout production to maintain quality standards and prevent adhesive buildup
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine equipment cleaning
- Pull, prepare, and stage customer orders for shipment
- Maintain an organized, safe, and productive work area
- Follow established manufacturing and quality control procedures
JOB DETAILS
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
- $1.00 per hour raise upon rollover
- Full-time position
- Monday-Friday schedule

SPOOLING MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain focus during repetitive production tasks
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and follow written procedures
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience is a plus but not required
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to load and unload large material rolls
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and kneel as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
