Express Employment Professionals seeks a dependable Production & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position involves weighing ingredients, mixing products, packaging finished goods, operating production equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The work is physically demanding and takes place in a dusty and dirty manufacturing setting.

 

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Overtime required as business needs dictate
• Two paid 20-minute breaks daily

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Weigh ingredients accurately according to production requirements
• Mix products following established procedures
• Package products in accordance with quality control standards
• Operate the process control computer system
• Safely operate forklift and packaging equipment
• Palletize and stack bags neatly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of production and warehouse areas
• Assist with general janitorial duties
• Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines
• Attend and complete required safety training on the first day of employment

 

Qualifications

 

• 1+ years of production experience
• Feed manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience
• Experience Palletizing
• Production, mixing, and packaging experience
• Experience with cleaning and general warehouse maintenance
• Ability to operate process control systems
• Experience weighing ingredients and following production formulas
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation required
• Excellent attendance is a must
• Frequently lift, carry, drag, pull, and palletize up to 75 pounds
• Regular bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crawling
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to reach above shoulder level
• Ability to push and pull materials throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
