Interior and Exterior Aircraft Cleaner (Day)

Our exclusive client, a respected leader in general aviation and commercial aircraft grooming, is seeking a detail-oriented and thorough Interior and Exterior Aircraft Cleaner to join their team on the day shift. As an Aircraft Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of aircraft cabins, including vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, cleaning seats and tray tables, windows, floor tracks, bathrooms, and taking out trash. You will also perform wet and dry washing of the exterior. This is an active vacancy.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Wet wash and dry wash exterior aircraft surfaces, including wings, fuselage, empennage, and landing gear
• Operate polishing equipment throughout the shift to clean and restore aircraft exterior surfaces
• Vacuum carpets, seats, seat tracks, galleys, ventilation areas, and overhead bins
• Wipe down, clean, and disinfect all interior surfaces, including tray tables, windows, sidewalls, cockpits, and lavatories
• Clean, sanitize, and restock aircraft lavatories and onboard amenities
• Remove trash and recyclables from aircraft cabins and work areas
• Maintain high-quality cleaning standards with exceptional attention to detail
• Work efficiently to meet tight aircraft turnaround schedules
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and effective cleaning operations

Required skills and qualifications:

• 1-2 years of cleaning experience preferred
• Previous aircraft or automotive grooming experience is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary security clearances
• Own vehicle as public transportation is not available during shift hours
• Must be comfortable working in a cold hangar during the winter months
• Comfortable working part-time hours - Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours based on operational requirements

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shifts are typically scheduled between 10:30AM and 6:30PM; however, hours may vary based on aircraft availability and operational requirements. Team members will generally receive their schedules 2–3 days in advance. There may also be opportunities to support night shift operations as needed, just as night shift team members may occasionally assist with day shift coverage.

Typical shift: 10:30am to 6:30pm (Approximately 15–20 hours per week)
