This is a selector-type position moving heavy construction materials and supplies.
The goal will be to ensure that materials and products will always be in the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. You will have room for growth and can blend into the other departments. Associates must have familiarity with shipping/loading-related processes and you will be trained in using the most advanced forklift equipment.
To start the job is all manual heavy lifting, loading and unloading trailers and performing shipping duties.
Job Location: WIndsor, CT
Salary: $20/hr
Shift: 1st shift / 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Or later on busy days
Temp to hire position
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs all shift
- Prior warehouse experience is a must (2+ yrs of solid work history)
- Must be willing to lift boxes and load/unload trucks and vans
- Must take a drug test & background check
Responsibilities:
- Loading & unloading trucks
- Sorting/Picking/Unloading lifts of boxes
- Working in a large warehouse environment
- Working independently and as a team
