Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Account Specialist!

Position Summary: Are you outgoing, personable, and someone who takes initiative? Our client is looking for a customer-focused Account Specialist to assist with front desk operations, customer payments, and account follow-up. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys interacting with people, stays organized, and wants to grow with a company. The focus is on customer service and account support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional front desk assistance.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to questions, and direct inquiries as needed.
• Process customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Make reminder calls regarding upcoming payments and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Assist with collections through respectful, professional customer communication.
• Complete verification calls to confirm customer information.
• Balance the cash drawer and resolve discrepancies with the appropriate team member.
• Take initiative to support daily office needs and keep tasks moving.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer service mindset.
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone, including discussing outstanding payments.
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative without waiting for direction on every task.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic math abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
• Dependable, eager to learn, and interested in growing with the company.

Hours:

• Monday–Friday
• 8am – 5pm

Pay:

• $17/hour
