Manufacturing Technician

Location:  Washington, MI
Pay:  $18-$22/hour
Shift: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

 

Express Employment Professionals is currently partnered with the world leader in industrial temperature and viscosity control. This innovative company designs, manufactures, installs, and continuously improves robotic and automated fluid dispensing systems used across a variety of industries.

 

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with advanced technology, and contributing to the production of industry-leading automated equipment.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and support manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform equipment setup, maintenance, and system testing.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assist with installation and support activities as needed.
• Travel to customer or company locations when required.

 

Qualifications

 

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or college education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability and willingness to travel when needed.
• Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or robotics is preferred.
