Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Location: Mesquite, Texas

Pay: $17/hr

Hour: Monday-Friday between 7am-4:00pm or 9am-6pm (start and end times are negotiable but must work every other Saturday)

 

Type: Temp to Perm

 

 

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing inventory
• Coordinate with other warehouse team members to maintain an organized and accurate inventory
• Pulling orders
• Unloading containers
• Stocking inventory

• Driving company truck to pick up materials at manufacturers (occasional driving must have valid driver’s license)

 

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Must be trainable on how to drive sit down forklift, stand up forklift, cherry picker and a reach truck
• 2 – 3 years related experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Knowledge of safe lifting technique to load and unload cargo, including heavy, bulky, and/or cumbersome freight.
• Prior experience operating forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks for the purposes of moving, loading, arranging, rearranging, and unloading freight.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions given orally or in writing, including those on manifests and other shipping documents
• Ability to perform work required in a timely manner and to maintain adequate productivity in order to meet service schedules and customer commitments
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Ability to maintain good attendance
• Have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
