Forklift operation accounts for roughly 30% to 40% of the daily workload based on incoming truck volume, while the remainder of your time will involve pulling digital orders, cutting metal and coils, and leading floor operations. What You Will Do

• Sit-Down Forklift Operation: Safely load and unload inbound and outbound freight trucks, stage heavy metal products, and move coils across the warehouse floor.

• Digital Stock Management: Log incoming shipments and pull daily customer orders accurately using computer-based shipping and receiving software (Monarch software).

• Material Processing: Use hand tools to safely cut metal and coils to specific customer order guidelines.

• Floor Leadership: Supervise daily warehouse workflows, support team operations, and maintain line productivity during high-volume shipment days.

• Order Fulfillment and Prep: Stage outgoing freight, perform order picking, and keep dock areas clean, organized, and safety-compliant.

What You Need

• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse or industrial setting required.

• Sit-Down Forklift Expertise: 1 to 2 years of recent, efficient sit-down forklift operating experience required.

• Computer Literacy: Strong tech skills with the proven ability to navigate computer-based order systems and learn Monarch shipping and receiving software.

• Valid Driver License: Must hold a valid driver's license.

• Environment and Physical Requirements: Comfortable working in an active, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and performing physical hand-tool tasks.

• Language Skills: High-level verbal and written communication skills in English to operate software, read order sheets, and direct team members effectively.

• Reliability: Excellent attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
