Material Handler/Water Spider Job Summary:
Full-time job opportunity for a Material Handler to join a furniture manufacturer in the Kentwood area. Are you organized, like to see product go out and come in properly and you love to set your team up for success, this job is for you!
Material Handler/Water Spider Requirements:
- Efficiently bring materials to and from the workstations to keep production running
- Selecting inventory
- Able to push and pull carts, pack product, palletize
- Ability to prioritize work and stage product
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Inventory, computer entry, maintaining accurate records
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience is a plus
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift 5:00am-3:30pm Monday - Thursday with overtime as required
- $18.00/HR
Material Handler/Water Spider Qualifications:
- Excellent attendance and be flexible with the work schedule to meet business needs
- Material handling/water spider experience
- Able to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for duration of the shift
- Ability to occasionally walk, bend, crouch, kneel
- Experience with inventory, computer entry, auditing, data entry
- Forklift experience is a plus
