Express Employment is partnering with a local garage door installation company.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Lead Technician to join our "Open-Close Chameleon Pro's” team! As the lead tech, you will assist the Operations Coordinator with training new hires and ongoing training, technical support (installation of doors/motors and repairs), and showing off those killer sales skills! You are responsible for a team of technicians and training them to have the skills for installing and repairing garage doors.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

•    Leadership: Lead, mentor, train all incoming new hires.  Be a role model and promote their success over the next several months. Dress in the appropriate attire, be well groomed and follow all protocols within the company. You will be leading several one on one trainings with technicians, and leading technical training in a group setting.

•    Technical/Expertise: Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues for repair, and install garage doors. You should be able to come up with solutions on your own and use other resources as needed. Have the "figure it out', kind of attitude, perform inspections of work done by other technicians and take phone calls from technicians as needed. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

•    Sales Superstar: You must possess those superstar sales skills, and have the “go getter" drive to reach achievements! Perform up to KPI standards and exceed sales goals. You will still have 3-4 jobs per day when training a new hire and goals must be met.

•    Safety and Work Environment: Ensure safety guidelines and protocols are followed.  The Lead Technician will work in an environment that may involve physical tasks, technical challenges, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Weekly safety meetings must be conducted with the entire team.

•    Collaboration: Work closely with the office, operations, and management.  You will have to commute to our other locations as needed.

Qualifications:

•    High school diploma
•    Available for technical phone calls as needed (minimal after hours and some Saturdays)
•    Strong technical knowledge in residential and commercial garage doors
•    At least 3 years or more of garage door experience, preferably with management experience
•    Proficiency in using power tools and ipads/software (Service Titan, Drive, Etc)
•    Familiarity with industry regulations and standards

Shift:

Monday-Friday typically but some Saturdays are needed

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour to start with with a roadmap to make over $120
