Job Description

Express Employment Professionals in Shelton, CT is recruiting an experienced Electrical Assembler / Electronics Assembler for an established manufacturing company in Shelton.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wire soldering, printed circuit board (PCB) soldering, and small electronic component assembly. This position requires excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to produce high-quality electrical assemblies.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform wire soldering and PCB soldering on electrical and electronic components. (experience required)
• Assemble small electrical parts, switches, wiring, and electronic assemblies according to work instructions.
• Read and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools.
• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and correct assembly defects as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Meet established production and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous wire soldering and PCB soldering experience required.
• Experience in electrical assembly, electronics assembly, or electromechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to work with small components and perform detailed, repetitive assembly tasks.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Experience using soldering irons, hand tools, and basic inspection equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

PAY & BENEFITS
Express Employment Professionals associates are paid hourly unless otherwise noted. Associates accrue paid sick leave in accordance with Connecticut law.
