Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Troy, OH

Pay: $30/hr

Shift: 1st

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Inspect, repair, replace, and adjust equipment components to ensure proper operation.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks.

• Perform basic machining, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance as needed.

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), proper PPE usage, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLC and HVAC experience.

• Basic understanding of VFDs, motor starters, overload protection, PLCs, and industrial electrical circuits.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to safely work at heights, around hazardous chemicals, and extended hours as needed while following all safety guidelines.
