Pay: $25-$35/hr

Shift: 2nd (8pm-6am)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts according to customer specifications.

• Perform machining operations, including turning, reaming, boring, facing, and threading.

• Read and interpret blueprints, job routers, and work instructions to determine tooling and machining processes.

• Maintain tight tolerances and required surface finishes throughout production.

• Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure dimensional accuracy.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and assist with process improvements to maximize efficiency.

• Follow safety procedures, meet production goals, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous CNC lathe machining experience, including machine setup and operation.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, gages, and technical work instructions.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills, including decimal calculations.

• Experience using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

• Dependable team player with consistent attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
