Job Summary
The Water Press Operator is responsible for operating water press equipment to compact and form ceramic components from raw powder materials. Duties include preparing powder-filled rubber sacks, operating pressurized vessels, handling materials using hoists and material handling equipment, and ensuring products meet established work instructions and quality standards. This role works collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing goals while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare powder-filled rubber sacks for the water pressing process.
Operate water press equipment and pressurized vessels according to established procedures.
Handle and transport materials and finished components using hoists and other material handling equipment.
Follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
Inspect parts and identify potential defects or quality concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and output goals.
Follow all applicable safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
