Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Salary: $18-$20 hr.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience using shipping software and programs, preparing outgoing shipments, receiving incoming inventory, and operating warehouse equipment. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments using shipping software, programs, and computerized shipping systems
• Generate and print shipping labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders
• Stage, organize, and prepare shipments using a sit-down forklift or pallet jack as needed
• Receive and unload incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and inspecting products for accuracy and damage
• Verify orders and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy before shipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shipping area
• Assist with general warehouse duties and inventory management as needed

 

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred
• Willing to submit to drug and background screening
• Must have experience using computerized shipping programs and software
• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift and pallet jack preferred
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents, packing slips, and customer orders
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working in a fast-paced warehouse setting
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse products and materials as required
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday
