Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support production operations by moving, staging, and supplying materials throughout the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring production teams have the materials needed to maintain efficient workflow while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-process materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and production materials.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed to support workflow.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• Verify material counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and staging of products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Support warehouse and production teams with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely move materials and operate warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
