Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Dispatcher to coordinate daily service calls and dispatch technicians to customer locations. This role is ideal for someone with previous dispatching experience, particularly in the HVAC, electrical, or plumbing industries. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing incoming calls, performing data entry, coordinating technician schedules, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch plumbing technicians to service calls and coordinate daily schedules.
• Answer incoming phone calls, assist customers, and transfer calls to the appropriate department or team member.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer, service, and scheduling information in the computer system.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal staff regarding service appointments and updates.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional and pleasant phone presence.
• Maintain accurate records and pay close attention to detail when entering information.
• Support daily office operations and help ensure service calls are handled efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching experience required.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing dispatch experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data entry abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent attendance.
• Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor when communicating with customers and coworkers.
