About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to produce high-quality parts while maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
• Set up and troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Perform first article inspections and verify part accuracy.
• Maintain program documentation and revision control.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or machining certification preferred.
• Experience programming CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, or similar).
• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Experience with multi-axis machining.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality inspection processes.
