Shipping & Receiving Associate

Our client in Eastlake is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Prepare, package, and ship finished products according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Pick, stage, and organize materials for production and customer orders.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and documented.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to meet shipping deadlines.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
