Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Shop Laborers for a growing manufacturing company in Menomonie, WI. This company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and installation of large-scale industrial equipment and systems.

No specific manufacturing experience is required. The company is willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn. Experience in manufacturing, welding, fabrication, machine setup, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD is helpful but not required. The right candidate will be dependable, communicate well, show up on time, and be interested in building a long-term career.

Pay

• $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
• Based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 4:30 PM
• Overtime may be required based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with general shop and production activities
• Support machine operators and other team members as needed
• Help with machine setup and operation
• Perform material handling and shop cleanup
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist various departments based on production needs
• Follow company safety procedures and work instructions
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong communication skills
• Honest and dependable
• Good situational awareness and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Hard-toed shoes required
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a background check
