Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Customer Service Specialist for a company in Estero, FL. This temporary/contract role serves as the liaison between the company and its clients and consumers, helping address food safety questions, concerns, and requests.

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $25 per hour
Position Type: Temporary/Contract

 

Responsibilities:

• Respond professionally to client and consumer inquiries by phone and email.

• Document food safety concerns, complaints, and requests accurately.

• Coordinate with internal teams to address concerns and provide timely updates.

• Maintain databases, track corrective actions, and prepare reports.

• Complete customer questionnaires and upload documentation to customer portals.

• Keep food safety audit records and vendor files organized and current.

• Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and follow through.

• Experience handling customer inquiries or complaints preferred.

• Food industry or food safety experience is a plus.
