Our client is a regional food hub dedicated to supporting local agriculture by providing production, distribution, and marketing services for area producers. Their work helps small farms connect with wholesale and retail buyers, making it easier for locally grown products to reach businesses and communities throughout the region.

We are currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join their team. This position plays an important role in ensuring fresh products are delivered accurately, safely, and on time while representing the organization professionally in the community.

What you get to do:

• Safely operate refrigerated box trucks (non-CDL) on assigned routes in all seasons and traffic conditions
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, damage, and warning lights right away
• Keep the refrigeration unit at the set temperature and report any cold chain problem immediately
• Deliver to 20 or more customer stops per route, in the sequence and time windows assigned
• Unload case-quantity orders with a hand cart through rollup doors, with or without a lift gate
• Check each delivery against the paperwork and get customer confirmation as required
• Handle product with care so it arrives in the condition it left the warehouse
• Work professionally with receiving staff at restaurants, schools, hospitals, grocers, and institutional kitchens
• Resolve small delivery discrepancies on the spot and report the rest to the Logistics Manager
• Represent the company and its farmer-owners with care at every stop
• Complete delivery paperwork, mileage, and inspection records each shift
• Report route changes, missed stops, refused product, and quality issues to the Logistics Manager in real time
• Use the route and navigation apps provided
• Keep the truck clean and organized before and after each shift; fuel and park it as directed
• Help load at the warehouse as needed
• Follow food safety and cold chain handling procedures

What you need to be successful:

• 1+ year in highly organized and fast-paced work environment
• 1+ year box truck driving experience
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; able to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Customer Service
• Attention to detail
• Adaptability across trucks, routes, and weather
• Prior food distribution, produce delivery, or refrigerated transport experience
• Familiarity with food safety and cold chain handling practices

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 4:00AM to 4:00PM

Pay: $23.00
