Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Mill & Warehouse Technician to support daily production, material processing, equipment cleaning, and warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and use hand tools to process raw materials according to established procedures.
• Measure, weigh, and prepare materials according to production schedules and specifications.
• Follow production schedules to ensure materials are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for production, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, verify cleanliness, and complete required documentation.
• Label, package, and prepare finished materials for storage or shipment.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory documentation, and batch traceability.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures, food safety requirements, and proper PPE guidelines.
• Work with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to maintain an organized and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and production schedules.
• Basic math skills, including measurements, weights, and quantities.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Work in a warehouse or production environment that may be noisy, dusty, and not climate-controlled.
• Exposure to airborne particles, strong material odors, and potentially slippery surfaces.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
