Machine Operator / Printing Press Assistant

4 day / 40 hour work week
Train on 1st shift for approximately 3 months -- Monday - Thursday 6am-4pm at $19/hour
Move to 2nd shift -- Monday - Thursday 4pm-2am at $21.85/hour 

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operator / Press Operator Assistant to join a busy manufacturing team. This hands-on position involves assisting with printing press setup, preparing materials, maintaining equipment and supporting daily production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and stage materials, tools and supplies for printing press operations

• Assist with machine setup, changeovers and cleaning

• Install and remove printing components, dies, print heads and other equipment

• Assist with mounting printing plates and preparing presses for production

• Clean and maintain ink trays, machine parts and production equipment

• Keep work areas clean, organized and stocked with necessary materials

• Support production schedules, quality standards and process improvements

• Work independently and assist other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operation, printing press or manufacturing experience preferred

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with production equipment

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Reliable, organized and willing to learn new equipment

• Flexibility for occasional overtime or shift changes as needed

PAY & BENEFITS
